Case for students at CPH Business under Design and Business - Creative Branding, fall 2024

    Students at CPH Business have started their own business and to execute the business they need a brand strategy and a visual identity.

  • THE TASK

    Develop a brand strategy and visual identity for Scent Symphony Copenhagen, a company selling scented candles made from soybeans.
    The client was open to a name change and wanted to be exclusive and sell to spa hotels.

    We sense the world around us with our senses.

  • solution

    We wanted to focus on all our senses and not just smell. Our senses are connected to the seasons, so we wanted to divide the scented candles into seasons and give them each their own color and mood board. To awaken the senses, we worked with close-up images of nature, so you can almost feel the packaging.

Name change

The name “Scent Symphony Copenhagen” is a very long name and difficult to pronounce. We therefore decided to change the name to “sen_soy”. The name should tell who they are by using the words: sense, season, soy.
